I’m Kirsten Cox, a Professional Coach and Mentor specialising in Business and Personal Development. I bring over thirty years of business acumen to my coaching practice and I’m committed to sharing my skills to help you develop.

A Lawyer by training, I have senior executive experience in both large Corporates and SMEs, mostly in the UK Sports Industry. With expertise in business and marketing strategy I have successfully negotiated multi-million-pound sponsorship contracts with Premier League & Scottish Premier League football clubs and managed teams responsible for developing e-commerce platforms for some of the world’s biggest sports brands.

I have guided teams through the ‘adapt or die’ environmental shift from traditional high street retail to the brave new world of e-commerce and spent several years commuting to the Far East as a consultant to adidas and Nike.

And I know when it’s time to make radical change.

The cut and thrust of Corporate Life had been exciting, even glamorous at times, and I had what many would regard as a “successful” career. But glamour fades and over time something was missing. I needed more autonomy, greater flexibility and a new type of fulfilment.

Success needed redefining.

So, in pursuit of a better Work-Life balance I left the corporate world behind and set up a holiday rental business which ran successfully for over a decade. Then came the Pandemic and suddenly we had to close our doors with no idea when, or if, they would be open again. As the weeks and then months went by I started to think about what to do instead.

Another ‘adapt or die’ situation.

Coaching as my profession had not been on my radar until, whilst at an event at The Women’s Organisation, it dawned on me that I’d been informally coaching and mentoring throughout my whole career. The proverbial “Lightbulb” moment. Formal qualifications followed and now I draw on all my skills to help others fulfil their true potential. I bring empathy and experience to my Coaching and can give you all the support you need to make meaningful changes.

I have climbed the Corporate Ladder and understand what it takes to achieve in that environment.

I understand that Success means different things to different people and at different times of your life.

I know first hand how hard it is to be expected to pursue one path and instead choose another.

I have been that executive that woke up one day realising it’s time to recalibrate my priorities.

I’ve experienced the highs and lows of running a small business.

And I know what it’s like to do all of these things whilst also raising a family.
